Getting started.

A quick reference for eTalase merchants using the Stock Sync Google Sheets Add-on. Connect your store, enter quantity updates in one column, and let the sheet send your changes on a schedule.

1. Connect your store

The Add-on is already installed in the spreadsheet. You only need to link it to your eTalase account once.

In the Google Sheets menu bar, open Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Configuration…

Copy your Store Key from the eTalase dashboard under Settings → Integrations & API → Google Sheets Stock Sync, then paste it into the dialog.

Select Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Pull Products from eTalase. Your products appear in the 📦 Inventory tab.

Select Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Enable Automatic Sync and approve Google permissions if prompted. Only one person per spreadsheet should enable this.

Keep your Store Key private. Never put it in a cell, a chat message, or a shared document. Enter it only through the Configuration menu.

2. Sheet tabs

The Add-on creates five tabs. For daily work you only need the Inventory tab.

📦 Inventory

Your main workspace. Edit only the new_inventory column — all other columns are managed automatically.

⚙️ Setup

Shows store name, connection status, and schedule summary. No editing needed.

📋 Guide

Quick in-workbook instructions. Also accessible via Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Open Guide.

📊 Log

History of every pull and push — timestamps, row counts, error messages, and request IDs.

⚠️ Archive

Products removed from eTalase are moved here automatically during the next pull, not deleted.

3. Update inventory

Wait for schedule or push now

Confirm status shows OK

Enter 0 when a product is fully out of stock — zero is a valid value.
Only enter whole numbers. Negative values are not accepted.
To push immediately: Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Push Inventory Updates Now.

Do not edit other columns. SKUs, names, IDs, current inventory, and statuses are managed automatically — manual edits may be overwritten on the next pull.

4. Sync schedule

All schedules are approximate — Google Apps Script may run a few minutes before or after the listed time.

Activity	When	What happens
Push inventory	Every hour	Changed rows are sent to eTalase. Successful rows show OK.
Daily product pull	02:00–04:00 WIB	Latest products, variants, and inventory are pulled from eTalase.
On Sheet open	If last pull > 2 hours ago	Checks for new data on open, then rechecks every 2 hours during the session.
Manual	Anytime	Use the eTalase menu to pull or push without waiting.

5. Status reference

Status	Meaning	What to do
OK	Row matches inventory in eTalase.	Nothing needed.
Awaiting Sync	A change has not been pushed yet.	Wait for the schedule, or push manually.
Failed: …	Update was rejected or the connection failed.	Read the message, check 📊 Log, and try again.

Before finishing your session, confirm important rows show OK.

6. Troubleshooting

eTalase menu is missing

Reload Google Sheets. If it still doesn't appear, confirm you opened the correct spreadsheet and have Editor access.

Store Key is invalid or revoked

Copy the key again from the eTalase dashboard, then open Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Configuration… Never paste the key into a cell.

Every row stays "Awaiting Sync"

Open 📊 Log to read the latest message. Try Push Inventory Updates Now. Re-approve Google permissions if prompted.

"SKU not found"

The product may have been removed or assigned a different SKU in eTalase. Pull products again and check ⚠️ Archive.

A new product doesn't appear

Confirm the product is active and has an SKU in eTalase, then run Pull Products from eTalase manually.

Need to pause automatic sync

Select Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Disable Automatic Sync. Manual sync remains available. Re-enable from the same menu when ready.

Need to disconnect the store

Select Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Disconnect Store… The Store Key and triggers are removed. Inventory and log data stay in the spreadsheet.

When contacting support, include the time of the issue, product name or SKU, the status message, and the request_id from 📊 Log. Never include your Store Key.
