1. What the Add-on accesses in Google Sheets

The Add-on is granted the spreadsheets.currentonly scope, which limits its access strictly to the spreadsheet where it is installed. Within that spreadsheet it reads and writes only the following tabs it creates and manages:

• ⚙️ Setup — displays the connection status and schedule summary.
• 📦 Inventory — holds pulled product data; only the new_inventory column is editable by the merchant.
• 📋 Guide — in-workbook usage instructions (read-only).
• 📊 Log — sync activity entries and API request IDs.
• ⚠️ Archive — products or variants that have been removed from your eTalase store.

The Add-on does not access any other spreadsheet, any file on Google Drive, any email, or any other Google service.

2. What inventory data is sent to eTalase

When you push an inventory update the Add-on sends the following fields to https://api.e-talase.com:

• Product ID, variant ID, and SKU (to identify the item).
• The new quantity value you entered in the new_inventory column.
• Your store-scoped Store Key (sent as a bearer credential, never stored in the spreadsheet).

No personal information about you — your name, email address, or Google account — is transmitted to the eTalase API during normal sync operations.

3. Why the data is used

• Product pull. Inventory levels, SKUs, and product names are fetched from eTalase so the Inventory tab stays current.
• Inventory push. Quantity changes you enter are sent to eTalase to update your live store stock.
• Activity log. Sync results and request IDs are written to the Log tab so you can audit changes and troubleshoot errors.

Data is used only to provide the sync service. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Add-on.

4. Where and how long data is stored

Store Key

Your Store Key is stored exclusively in Google Apps Script User Properties for your Google account within the spreadsheet. It is not shared through Document Properties and is never visible in cells, logs, screenshots, or network URLs. It is deleted when you choose Disconnect Store from the Extensions menu.

Spreadsheet data

Product and inventory data lives in your Google Sheet, which is owned and controlled by you under Google's storage policies. When you disconnect the store or uninstall the Add-on, data in the spreadsheet tabs is preserved so you do not lose your records. You may delete tabs manually at any time.

Log data

Sync events written to the Log tab remain in your spreadsheet until you clear or delete the tab. eTalase retains API request logs on its servers for a period of 90 days for troubleshooting purposes, after which they are deleted automatically.

Server-side data

eTalase processes inventory requests on servers located in Indonesia. Inventory data sent during a push is applied to your store and is not retained separately beyond standard database backups, which are deleted on a rolling 30-day cycle.

5. Data sharing and subprocessors

eTalase does not sell your data. We share data only with the following categories of subprocessors as necessary to operate the service:

All subprocessors are contractually bound to process data only for the purposes we specify and to apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

The Add-on's use of information received from Google APIs, including the spreadsheets.currentonly scope, conforms to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• Spreadsheet data is used only to provide and improve the sync feature you requested.
• Spreadsheet data is never transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the sync service.
• Spreadsheet data is never used or transferred for serving ads.
• Humans do not read your spreadsheet data except when you have explicitly requested support and given permission for a support agent to access a specific workbook.

7. Disconnecting and requesting deletion

To disconnect your store at any time, open the spreadsheet and choose Extensions → eTalase Stock Sync → Disconnect Store. This removes your Store Key from User Properties and deletes your automatic sync triggers. Spreadsheet data is preserved.

To request deletion of eTalase server-side data associated with your store, contact us at support@e-talase.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. We will process your request within 30 days.

8. Children

The Add-on is intended for merchants operating a business. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any material changes to this page and update the effective date. If changes affect how we handle data already collected, we will provide additional notice as required by applicable law.
